Roane County Divorce Records

When a court issues a divorce decree, the marriage between the parties officially ends. The Circuit Court and Chancery Court (if the case involves a property division dispute) maintain records of divorces filed within the Roane County judicial system.

Divorce court records are family law records that are open to the public to the extent permitted by the state's Public Records Act. Inquirers may access divorce records online using the Tennessee Public Court Records System or visit the court where the case was heard. Copies of divorce records are available for a fee.
